When should
I book my DJ or Master of Ceremonies?
Most reputable DJs are booked six months to one year in advance. Consider
booking your DJ right after you have booked your church or banquet hall
for your wedding, party or event.
Are you
licensed and Insured?
Yes, Howard Entertainment DJs are licensed and have
liability insurance up to 1,000,000.00. Certificates of Insurance can be
provided at client’s request. Howard Entertainment DJs are also members of the
Association of Professional Entertainers.
What
type of attire does the DJ wear?
Howard Entertainment DJs wear Formal Wear to all Weddings.
Business dress attire is worn for all other events. Different attire can
be worn at the client's request.
When will my
DJ arrive at my event?
Howard Entertainment DJs will arrive 1 hour prior to the start of your event.
This allows time to unload setup and conduct a sound check. There is no
additional charge for travel, setup, or breakdown.
What types
of music will my DJ play?
Howard Entertainment DJs will have a wide selection of music consisting of
Dance, Classic Rock, Country, Oldies, Big Band, Motown, R&B, Rap, Disco,
Hip-Hop, and much more. We filter our music, so music with questionable
content will not be played. We have everything from the 40’s and
50's to today’s top 40, so there will be something for all ages.
Special requests and songs on the do not play list will be discussed prior to
the event.
Will my DJ
play requests?
Yes, Howard Entertainment DJs will take your requests and work them in with the
orignal playlist. We are happy to take requests from you and your guests.
Will my DJ
contact me prior to my event?
A meeting will be scheduled prior to your wedding to review all the details
of the event, including the proper pronunciation for the introductions,
ceremonies, specialty dances etc. At this point we will also review your music
selections and make any changes that are necessary. We are always a phone call,
or email away, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions
or concerns.
How do
I book a date?
Give us a call or send an email to see if we are available for your
date. Fill out the Agreement enclosed and return one signed copy with your
deposit. Upon receipt of the signed Agreement and your deposit, we will reserve
your date and time. Final payment is due at your final meeting, prior to your
event.
